    Description

    Job Title: Hotline and Condom Distribution Program Manager

    Company: Virginia Department of Health

    The Hotline and Condom Distribution Program Manager will oversee multiple nationwide hotlines, manage responses to public inquiries on the Division of Disease Prevention (DDP) website, and supervise staff. Responsibilities include developing policies, collecting data, recruiting providers, and maintaining directories. This role also involves managing the condom distribution program and assisting with grant applications. Additionally, the position includes providing health education, developing educational materials, and coordinating special projects.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Experience in HIV/STD or viral hepatitis prevention
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
    • Experience organizing a hotline or call center
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively

    Additional Considerations
    • Background in Public Health, health education, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or related field
    • Experience with crisis intervention and emergency counseling
    • Supervisory or team lead experience in customer service
    • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish
