- Create and improve internal controls for IT in various areas of compliance risk, such as SOX, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GMP, GXP, GDPR, and Risk Management. Use industry best practices to increase the efficiency of compliance monitoring, testing, and program maintenance.
- Prepare, perform, and remediate IT internal and external audits, and learn from the outcomes and create plans for improving the experience for stakeholders.
- Work with peer teams to create various IT General Controls, applying best-practice knowledge and guidance to the process, enhancing continuous improvement and departmental coordination. These general controls cover disaster recovery, business continuity planning, root-cause analysis processes, change management processes (SDLC), and more. Supports the writing of related policies and procedures.
- Assume the role of Process Owner for IT Risk Management that involves establishing and sustaining trust-based rapport with peers and leaders; assess risk reduction and mitigation actions to constantly pursue risk reduction approaches.
- Work with Procurement and Legal teams to evaluate IT vendors and make sure they meet the required levels of technical compliance maturity, including SOC1 assessments for compliance standards. The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelors Degree required.
- 7+ years of experience in governance, risk, and/or compliance or similar (Technology/IT Audit, Internal Audit, Process and/or Program Management, Risk Management, IT Consulting, etc.)
- 3-5 years of direct experience engaging with and supporting internal and external IT/compliance related audits.
- Knowledge of Auditing Frameworks (ISO27001, ISO27002, NIST SP 1800 Series) and how to apply them effectively in an evolving and expanding organization.
- CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM or other related industry-level IT and/or compliance certifications
- Project Management, Legal, Privacy, Change Management, Information Security, Lean Six Sigma exposure and/or experience.
- Familiarity with SAP S4Hana, ServiceNow, Master Control, and SharePoint
- Industry SME in one or more compliance disciplines
- Excellent verbal/written communication, problem solving, analysis and independent decision making to support a culture of customer service and teamwork; ability to inspire, guide and be a reliable source of knowledge for less experienced team members.

The salary range for this role is $140,000-$ This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
