- Supervise Salespersons in achieving marketing plan objectives, sales targets, distribution goals, etc.
- Coordinate with Sales Managers to gather essential information for sales and merchandising across all channels.
- Act as the main point of contact for chain account business analysis.
- Conduct volume forecasting and plan volume bridges for chain programs.
- Identify opportunities for increased volume, market share, and profitability.
- Collaborate with field sales to ensure effective retail execution.
- Address pricing inconsistencies to account managers.
- Deliver presentations and proposals to chain team management.
- Conduct gap analysis against set plans.
- Work with analysts to present category/space management insights to secure partnerships.
- Collaboratively develop customer category plans with retailers.
- Implement category management standards and tailor retail solutions to account needs.
- Create solution selling presentations for customers.
- Implement agreed-upon solutions, track results, and communicate outcomes.
- Visit new accounts before opening and non-buying accounts regularly.
- Maintain positive relationships with owners, managers, and employees of assigned accounts.
- Monitor competitive activities within assigned chains to identify sales growth opportunities.
- Provide guidance and training to retailers and their staff on product selling, merchandising, and pricing.
- Ensure clear communication with company stakeholders.
- Monitor product code dates and replace any expired products promptly.
- Monitor product salability and replace damaged items.
- Properly utilize and maintain all issued equipment.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all applicable regulations.
- Perform all activities following safe work practices.
- Complete any other assigned duties.

Chain Account Manager Description
Reports to: Managing Director
Purpose of the Position:
The role of the Chain Account Manager is to boost sales by securing advertisements, improving distribution, maximizing displays, and gaining shelf space within designated chains. This position involves overseeing and managing the sales and merchandising activities aimed at chain accounts. Additionally, the Chain Account Manager is responsible for providing crucial analytical support for both chain account clients and the sales team. Success in managing chain account customers involves developing insights and capitalizing on selling opportunities, which require thorough analysis and valuable insights provided by this role.
As the primary liaison to the customer, the Chain Account Manager leads category management processes and provides top-notch category management services and insights to meet the retailer's category objectives and the company's goals.
Description of Physical Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves and vendors.
- Handle products weighing approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case.
- Load company products onto hand trucks or dollies.
- Practice proper lifting techniques when climbing in and out of vehicles.
