    We are looking for a Marine Engineer to join our team in San Francisco!

    About the Opportunity:

    As our Marine Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in all aspects of engineering projects, from start to finish. Your responsibilities include formulating hypotheses, designing tests, recommending solutions, and overseeing projects to completion. We expect you to demonstrate leadership, remain calm in the face of challenges, and be able to innovate new solutions independently. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the team's work meets industry standards and company expectations. This position includes eligibility for benefits.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Master all responsibilities of the Marine Mechanic role.
    • Lead and execute diesel engine repairs company-wide.
    • Install new systems and solutions.
    • Repair electronics and vessel media systems.
    • Collaborate with external contractors.
    • Maintain pump systems and more.
    • Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques.
    • Manage projects efficiently.
    • Make informed decisions and report accurately.
    • Mentor team members and ensure project resolution.
    • Specialize in Hybrid Propulsion Systems and electrical troubleshooting.
    • Interpret test data and maintain logs consistently.
    • Continue learning and seek assistance when needed.
    • Keep workspace organized and tools maintained.
    • Ensure engineering systems follow best practices.
    • Perform additional duties as required.
    Requirements & Qualifications:
    • Minimum 2 years of Industry Experience.
    • Working knowledge of electricity and safety practices.
    • HAZWOPER certificate (40 hours).
    • Forklift Certification.
    • CPR & First Aid Certification.
    • Experience in welding, brazing, soldering, and metalwork.
