Job Purpose:


Under direction of PM Lead / Supervisor coordinates and drives all necessary activities within the company to produce contracted products or services to our customers.

Interact with internal departments throughout the project cycle from quoting, document control, procurement, inventory control, scheduling, to engineering and manufacturing.

PM also acts as the primary link between our internal team and the customer to ensure that project requirements are identified and understood to ensure project completion per contract.

Must be flexible and cooperative and willing to take on additional duties as assigned by the Manager.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • Maintain status on customer requirements for existing products.
  • Review quotes for accuracy and completeness; coordinate customer inquiries and interface with all departments within the company.
  • Review master schedule establish priorities and revise schedules as necessary.
  • Provide information for and participate in master schedule review meetings and purchasing meetings.
  • Coordinate results with sales, manufacturing, shipping, and customers.
  • Monitor inventory and analyze inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain records, prepare reports, furnish additional data to customers and management as requested.
  • Receive and check customer complaints.
  • Confer with other departments within the company to trace missing/delayed shipments or quality issues and report findings to customer.

Qualifications:

Must read, write, and understand English, understanding verbal and written instructions. Must have strong verbal and writing skills, communication, and computer skills.

Must be able to operate a variety of business machines such as computers (literate in Microsoft Word and Excel a must), copiers, fax machines, and the like.

Must be good at problem solving and multitasking. Accuracy required.

  • General component knowledge
  • Proficient at reading Blueprints, Fab Drawings, Assembly Drawings and Bills of Material.
  • Knowledge of Industry Standards and Certifications.
  • Familiar with Supply Chain and Manufacturing Processes

Additional Knowledge and Related Experience Req
:


Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or AA degree or equivalent plus 1-3 years of related experience in technical or business field with exposure to manufacturing or engineering.

Have knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, process, and paperwork flow.

and be able to problem solve and work with mínimal supervision. Increasing responsibility experience in a Materials Production and Inventory Control environment.
