    One of Hiring Hub's top clients is seeking an experienced Project Manager for their growing organization. A construction project manager oversees all aspects of a construction project, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion.

    Job Title: Construction Project Manager

    Job Summary: As a construction project manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, while also liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities to ensure project success. SAFETY IS THE TOP PRIORITY

    Responsibilities:

    1. Project Planning:
      • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
      • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
      • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
      • Obtain necessary permits and approvals.
    2. Resource Management:
      • Allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment.
      • Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
      • Monitor and control project expenses to ensure adherence to budget.
    3. Team Leadership:
      • Recruit, train, and manage project team members.
      • Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately.
      • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
    4. Quality Assurance:
      • Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
      • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address deficiencies.
      • Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during construction.
    5. Risk Management:
      • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
      • Monitor and address safety hazards to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
      • Maintain insurance coverage and manage claims as necessary.
    6. Communication:
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
      • Provide regular progress updates and reports.
      • Facilitate meetings and discussions to resolve issues and make decisions.
    7. Project Execution:
      • Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure they are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
      • Monitor project milestones and deadlines.
      • Implement changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget as needed.
    8. Documentation:
      • Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, drawings, change orders, and correspondence.
      • Prepare and submit progress reports, invoices, and other documentation as required.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Proven experience as a construction project manager, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
    • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) may be advantageous.

    Working Conditions: Construction project managers typically work in office environments, but they also spend a significant amount of time on construction sites, where they may be exposed to hazards such as noise, dust, and inclement weather. The role may require travel to various project locations and occasional overtime to meet deadlines.
