The HA Hessen Agentur GmbH bundles all non-monetary activities of the Hessian economic development. It is one of the central organizational pillars of the economic development of the Hessian state government.

The Department of Economic Research and Regional Development advises the various departments of the state government on issues of demographic and economic development and supports the state in implementing measures and funding programs in the field of urban development.

The Hessen Agentur is looking for a committed project manager (m/f/d) for municipal development and urban development in the Department of Economic Research and Regional Development as soon as possible in full-time.


Your tasks:
Professional advice to the Hessian Ministry of Economic Affairs on current issues of sustainable urban development Support in the management and implementation of programs and initiatives for urban development in Hesse (including examination and evaluation of funding applications, conducting competitions, public relations)


Processing of inquiries from municipalities regarding urban development and city and neighborhood development Support for exchange of experiences and networking Conceptualization, planning, operational implementation and follow-up of information and communication measures (professional events (digital and in person), workshops) Project management (e.g.

coordination of project content with the client, coordination and management of external service providers, procurement processes, project controlling) Your profile:

Successfully completed studies in urban and regional planning, urban development and urban planning, architecture, spatial and environmental planning, geography or a related field Relevant professional experience desired Sound knowledge in the field of urban and regional development as well as understanding of urban development policy contexts
