About Vincenzo Dheskali:
I have a PhD in Applied Linguistics. My main interests and specializations are corpus linguistics, discourse analysis, academic and journalistic writing as well as TESOL and ‘scaffolded’ dialogic teaching.
Experience
From 2016 to 2019, I was a project manager of an international project (from the University of Chemnitz) aiming at improving academic and journalistic writing in countries from the Balkans. My tasts included managing, organizing yearly workshops and summers schools, communicating, creating/editing (15) websites, finances etc. Since 2020, I have been teaching English, Business English, German and Italian to international adults and young learners at a bilingual school.
Education
I have a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Chemnitz. The topic of my PhD thesis was: "A Corpus-based Comparison of Albanian and Italian Student Writing in L1 and English as L2: Hedges and Boosters, Modalization by Degree".
