- Oversee and manage field technicians so projects are operated safely, profitably, and to the complete satisfaction of our clients.
- Maintain team compliance with safety rules, guidelines, and planning for all projects.
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
- Monitor project schedules and meet deadlines.
- Regulate cost control, staffing, project invoicing, and report review.
- Execute work on time, within budget, in accordance with project requirements, and within company policies, procedures and standards.
- Manage clients and develop business for the department.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or construction engineering.
- Registration as a professional engineer (PE) in AL or ability to obtain within six months.
- Five-plus years of construction management preferred, but not required.
- Five-plus years of personnel management preferred, but not required.
- Effective communication (both written and oral) and organizational skills.
- Good driving record and strong awareness of personal safety.

Our steadily growing engineering design firm – now more than 450 workers strong – seeks capable and competent candidates with at least five to 10 years' experience who are ready to improve lives and communities.
If you can manage an engineering department and all the duties that are required – scheduling and coordinating a group of field technicians, producing proposals, managing clients, business development, invoicing & billing – then we have a place for you.
