    Description
    Amotec is currently searching for a

    Quality Engineer .

    Our client, located roughly 20 minutes south of the Reading, PA area, is a global leader in the aerospace, defense and industrial industries.

    As a

    Quality Engineer , you will be responsible for working with manufacturing, quality and purchasing personnel as well as external suppliers and customers to control and improve product quality


    Responsibilities:
    Create quality plans for product qualification as well as validate production processes
    Review and implement specifications as directed by customers
    Handle internal and external customer requests for corrective action
    Authorize product/process changes via Engineering Change Requests


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
    2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering
    Previous experience in metals manufacturing is a plus
    Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality standard
    Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to government regulations
