    Description


    Global manufacturer in Goldsboro, NC area is looking for a talented and motivated Quality Engineer with a proven record of industry and academic achievement.


    Quality Engineer will have responsibilities for developing and maintaining quality specifications, inspection protocos for products, materials, equipment, facility and process controls.

    Will investigate customer complaints and process nonconformities. Will support teams to ensure that a quality product is provided at all facilities in a timely manner. Will also be responsible for insuring that all technical documentation is up to date.

    Work with customers, plant, suppliers, repair station, and others to meet or exceed business needs.
    Develop customer, plant, and supplier relationships while ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
    Develop or improve quality processes related to all requirements.
    Work closely with customers, suppliers, and plant stakeholders to solve complex quality issues.
    Lead problem definition and part containment efforts for quality issues.
    Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving guidance to inspectors and others for quality issues.

    Requirements / Qualifications

    • BS Degree as Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer and / or Quality Engineer
    • Minimum of 2 years as Quality Engineer or similar position.
    • Office based with occasional travel requiring some overnight(s) stay dependent on assignments
