    Field Service Engineer

    Are you an experienced Service Engineer with a passion for traveling the world and solving customer issues? Our North American Automotive group is seeking a dedicated professional to execute installs, startups, commissioning, and repairs of equipment at customer locations. If this sounds like you, please keep reading

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, start-up, commission, repair, and maintain products at customer sites; perform in-house repairs of defective customer equipment.
    • Provide technical assistance to customers and departments, including parts and technical question research, and assist with Requests for Quotation.
    • Prepare Field Service Reports with sufficient detail for customer invoicing, warranty charges, labor and materials charges, and policy.
    • Provide engineering with redlined drawings and verbiage detailing any field changes implemented.
    • Create factory and On-Site Acceptance Documents and Procedures, perform Acceptance Procedures, and post-process data generated from Acceptance Procedures to validate design specifications.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge/experience.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work with little or no direct supervision.
