The Business Systems Consultant, Digital Platforms Activation will work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, and tackle complex challenges while developing and diversifying their professional experiences while helping others grow and develop their skills. This role will have the opportunity to contribute to digital solutions and bring them to international markets that impact patients and their communities for the better.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Working directly with business unit clients to understand specific business processes and business drivers and business strategy across multiple business units.
• Identifying and communicating resulting needs and opportunities for business process improvement that can be enabled via technology.
• Investigating and understanding capabilities of existing systems and technologies already in use across the business area and similar and interconnected business areas in AbbVie and investigating available technologies applied to this business area in industry.
• Identifying information required to support the business strategy and leading the development of appropriate information management strategies, developing them as an integrated part of the business strategy.
• Identifying current and emerging business needs to evaluate for inclusion into the available digital ecosystem. Making recommendations on alternative technology solutions using standard information systems methodologies and best practices.
• Developing, leading, or reviewing the creation of strategy and governance to support the strategic requirements of multiple business units, and ensuring compliance between strategies, and technology directions.
• Proactively seeking out strategic business opportunities for the application of new or existing technology capabilities (across multiple business areas) with high-level business unit executives providing key opinion-leading clients with comprehensive strategic analysis and insights to help them discovery strategic uses of technology products and services.
• Developing, leading, or reviewing the creation of information systems strategy to support the strategic requirements of multiple business areas. Identifying the business benefits of alternative solutions.
• Developing business relationships and integrating activities with other BTOs to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
• Compliance with applicable Corporate, Divisional, and applicable regional policies and procedures.

Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:

Required

• Bachelor's Degree with 7 years' experience; Master's Degree with 6 years' experience; PhD with 2 years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience with Agile methodologies, and Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
• 5+ years' experience collaborating with engineering and design teams.
• 3+ years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Consultant/Product Analyst/Product Owner or Manager for mobile or web applications.
• 3+ years' experience working on a matrixed team, preferably across international markets.
• Demonstrable proficiency at managing multiple workstreams of varying priority and in various stages across a single portfolio.
• Experience with taking technology products through design, development, activation, and sustainment.
• Roadmap, innovation, and vision creation experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Beneficial
