We are currently seeking a
Sr Application Support Specialist
to provide proactive support and training for enterprise software applications, assist the Help Desk with escalation and backup, and provide operational support for both IT and organizational projects.
AWWA runs on a hybrid reporting schedule; at least three days per week in the Denver office and up to two days of remote reporting.
Essential Job FunctionsAdminister and provide support for internal and cloud enterprise software applications
Evaluate and establish business processes to improve staff efficiency
Proactively identify opportunities to improve AWWA's use of new and existing applications
Provide training to staff for new applications and features
Provide assistance and backup to the Help Desk, including escalation support
Create and maintain administration and training documentation for all enterprise software applications
Provide operational support for IT projects and programs
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
Know, understand, and follow employee guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
Work schedules as required including working remotely, evenings and/or weekends as needed
Job Qualifications
Education, Certification or Formal Training :
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in related area preferred or equivalent work experience in application support may be substituted in lieu of degree on a year-for-year basis
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft 365, NetSuite Administrator, CompTIA A+
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in similar role required
Demonstrated expertise in basic IT concepts and operating systems including but not limited to Desktop Support, Application Support, Mobile Device Support, Windows 10/11, and Windows Server required
Advanced knowledge of AWWA applications including but not limited to Microsoft 365 (required) and Oracle NetSuite (preferred)
Familiarity with ITSM service operations preferred
Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Pay is targeted between $ $37.
50 per hour depending on experience and is paired with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
