    Job Title: Network Support Specialist

    Department: Technology

    Reports To: Chief Information Officer

    FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

    Compensation: Compensation is dependent on experience and rages from $25.50 to $27.00 per hour.

    General Summary:

    + Working supervision for installation, maintenance, and repairs of facility communications systems including telephone systems, computer/data systems, and digital display systems.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Configure and support Cisco VOIP systems, to clients, in-house vendors, and staff.

    + Support communications-related computer systems for administrative and functional purposes.

    + Add, delete, and modify users in CCC network environment (MS Server environment).

    + Configure and install new PCs and its peripherals.

    + Promptly respond to helpdesk support requests.

    + Assist users with internal and external software including: MS Office suite, Adobe products, EBMS data management system, ADP, and other web-based services.

    + Assist Systems Administrator maintain FourWinds digital signs and digital room signs.

    + Maintain a safe working environment.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    + The ability to operate computers and work with office systems.

    + Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills.

    + Excellent record of dependability and reliability.

    + Ability to speak, understand, and read Standard English, required.

    + Work effectively with diverse groups of people among all levels within an organization

    Education and Experience:

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Minimum of 1-year Helpdesk experience.

    + Cisco VOIP/ switch experience a plus

    + CompTia A+ certification a plus.

    + Experience with telephone and telecommunications systems used in the DCC facilities, including, but not limited to, multi-line phone systems, local area networks, modems, PBX and Cisco VOIP equipment

Position requires frequent sitting, occasional walking, climbing stairs, standing on cement floors, turning, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling; may be subject to adverse working conditions, dust, grime, noise, fumes, wet floors etc., including weather; requires irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends, evening, and holidays, determined by event schedule and/or department need; Must possess the ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds to desk level. Requires radio usage of a two-way hand-held radio.
