- Evaluate situations and resolve questions or customer inquiries.

The role:
Join our as a wireless systems specialist in Ontario In this role, you will construct, install, maintain and repair diverse wireless two-way radio and microwave network systems for your assigned service area. You will support and coordinate the communication systems for customers including our agency, Oregon State Police, the Fire Marshall's office and more. This role is similar to radio technician, electronics technician, communications technician, radio service, tower technician, telecommunications specialist, broadcast technologist, radio frequency (RF) signalman, power systems control craftsman and land mobile radio service positions. Minimum qualifications for an information systems specialist 5:
Four (4) years of wireless communications or information systems experience in wireless systems (i.e., two-way radio, microwave).
OR
An associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND two (2) years of information systems experience in wireless (i.e., two-way radio, microwave) systems.
OR
A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.
Minimum qualifications for an information systems specialist 4 (underfill option):
Three (3) years of wireless communications or information systems experience in wireless (i.e., two-way radio, microwave) systems.
OR
An associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND one (1) year of information systems experience in wireless systems (i.e., two-way radio, microwave).
Special qualifications for both:
