    The Manager of Commodity Management and Sourcing will negotiate and manage supplier contracts to achieve cost savings and enhance supplier performance while managing cross-functional teams and building collaborative relationships.

    Responsible for developing and improving commodity management and sourcing to processes to enhance price, quality, timing, and reliability of Carrier outcomes.

    Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for Aftermarket parts, aligned with the organization's overall procurement and business objectives.

    Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, potential risks, and emerging trends within the Aftermarket HVAC industry.

    Supplier Management:
    Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and relationship management activities.

    Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers to ensure the highest quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery of steel raw materials, components and products.


    Negotiation and Contract Management:

    Draft and manage contracts and agreements to protect the organization's interests while promoting mutually beneficial partnerships in a cross functional sourcing environment.

    Implement cost reduction initiatives and continuously monitor market dynamics to capitalize on cost-saving opportunities within the Aftermarket parts HVAC category without compromising quality.


    Collaboration:

    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Planning, WHQ Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Development, and Operations, to understand their requirements and ensure alignment between procurement and business objectives.


    Supplier Performance Management:

    Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, evaluate their performance regularly, and work collaboratively to address any performance issues.

    Bachelor's degree
    ~5+ years' experience in Supply Chain Commodity Management

    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering
    ~3+ years of Advanced user knowledge in MS Excel & Word
    ~ Demonstrated track record of driving significant cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier optimization, and contract negotiation.
    ~ Strong analytical and market research skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities while mitigating supply chain risks.
    ~ MBA preferred
    ~ English communication (written and verbal)
