    Position Summary:
    We are currently seeking an experienced

    Senior Tax Administrator

    to support our Corporate Tax Department with a variety of administrative and para-professional duties.

    This organized and detailed individual will serve as the central support to the entire team and ensure timely delivery of all tax documents for processing.


    Responsibilities:
    Perform filing, and maintenance of electronic and hard copy files by legal entity.
    Verify billings, proof and edit documents, answer telephone.
    Monitor due dates by legal entity for each taxing jurisdiction.
    Mailing or electronically filing federal and state partnership income tax returns.
    Extracting general ledger financial information on a legal entity basis.
    Assist in preparation of tax documents as directed by tax personnel.
    Prepare letters, correspondence, and reports.
    Order and maintain tax assembly supplies.
    Assist with processing bills and engagement letters.
    Perform internet research regarding tax jurisdictions and miscellaneous tax related tasks.
    Perform year-end planning functions to prepare for upcoming tax season.
    Provide general administrative support to the tax team including:

    Coordinating of internal and external meetings.
    Developing MS PowerPoint presentations and prepare organizational charts.

    Assist with various special projects, as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:
    Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
    Strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Comfortable communicating with individuals across company divisions and with taxing jurisdictions.
    Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality.
    Ability to operate well in customer service functions.
    Ability to understand and deliver team expectations.
    Proactive self-starter who seeks additional assignments with little supervision.
    Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet searches.

    Education and Experience:
    Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience working in a corporate tax department or public firm.
    Previous administrative experience preferred.

    Physical Requirements:


    This position is subject to seasonal cycles depending on the tax calendar and may provide the ideal candidate an opportunity for flexibility over the work week.

    Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
