    Description

    Join a leading technology group in the heart of Dallas as we expand our dedicated family office team. We are seeking a seasoned SAP EWM Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in the deployment of SAP S/4HANA solutions for warehouse and inventory management. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to major implementation projects slated over the next 3 to 7 years.

    Role Overview:

    As the VP of Accounting & Administration, you will oversee and influence the comprehensive financial landscape of a wealthy family's portfolio. This pivotal role involves direct reporting to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and the family, providing strategic leadership in managing our accounting and financial operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Financial Leadership: Manage general ledger accounting for investment partnerships and multiple family generations.
    • Tax and Investment Management: Oversee tax preparation and investment performance reporting, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and maximizing financial outcomes.
    • Strategic Oversight: Produce accurate financial reports, maintain meticulous records, and liaise effectively with outsourced service providers.
    • Team Development: Mentor and develop a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.


    Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years in personal financial accounting, tax, and investments, preferably in family office environments or financial services.
    • Certifications: CPA designation preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Strong background in managing complex financial operations and leading teams.
