G&D Integrated is looking for a competitive, highly motivated individual with the drive to succeed.
The Driver Recruiter:
Sources and identifies active and passive candidates through various recruiting tools.
Reaches prospective CDL A drivers and creates relationships through the full life cycle recruiting process (phone, email, in person).
Reviews inbound applications and makes outbound calls daily with prospective driver candidates.
Schedules hiring manager interviews and regularly provides status updates to hiring team and driver candidate.
Interviews and pre-screens driver applicants.
Works with recruiting team to process and review pre-employment reports / screens required to qualify a driver candidate per the Company and DOT guidelines.
Contacts driver applicants to extend conditional offer of employment, schedules and arranges travel to orientation.
Regularly updates applicant tracking system.
Builds and maintains relationships with transportation industry contacts to gain knowledge and generate referrals and prospective driver leads.
Actively participates in recruiting team meetings and other projects as assigned.
Regularly meets and engages with G&D Drivers and Managers to better understand and promote the Company to prospective drivers.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred.
Internally driven, self-motivated and competitive with a desire to win.
Experience in a sales or recruiting capacity preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to multi task while meeting tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the transportation industry is helpful.
Some travel required.
