Position Summary:_


The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Development Department, while building and maintaining relationships with our supporters.

This individual will assist with day-to-day tasks relating to department operations, events, and church relations.

Specific Responsibilities:_


Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Development Department
  • Order department supplies and stamps
  • Take minutes for department meetings
  • Maintain records of all direct mail and ecommunications created for archiving purposes
  • Coordinate volunteer projects and needs with Office Coordinator
  • Create Google Forms to track information
  • Maintain accurate data in donor database making changes when requested
  • Work within a team environment to support colleagues as assigned

Events

  • Assist with implementing and executing successful fundraising events (Walk for Life, Golf for Life, and Gala)
  • Generate pledge reports for walkers participating in Walk for Life
  • Manage event RSVPs within Fund Easy for all PRC events
  • Recruit event volunteers and staff
  • Secure event vendors providing clear communications
  • Submit donation requests
  • Solicit raffle items
  • Manage postevent logistics such as entering information in the donor database, collecting and analyzing attendee feedback, reporting of statistical information, record keeping, etc.

Church Relations

  • Create and distribute church communications
  • Coordinate church deliveries (two three times a year) of PRC related materials
  • Oversee Baby Bottle Campaign to include various churches and provide PRC revenue through baby bottle campaign
  • Assist Community Engagement Director with data entry and other tasks as assigned

Position Requirements:_

  • Ability to build and retain positive relationships
  • Excellent people and phone skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office software with expertise in Excel and Word (knowledge of merge features)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Expertise in analytical processes
  • Ability to learn, teach, and inform
  • Ability to remain focused and calm under pressure of multiple tasks and interruptions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with highly sensitive data
  • Flexible and able to work an occasional evening and/or weekend (additional hours may be required for staff development, during an event season, or as requested by supervisor)
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Possess a valid driver's license as well as reliable transportation (necessary for position requirements)
