Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:
$47,500 - $50,000

Job Summary
The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Revenue /Accounting Manager and provides core accounting support to the Finance Operations Team. To be successful in this role, the individual must be able to manage multiple deadlines, have strong analytical skills, be detail oriented and display a high level of organizational skills.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform revenue related account reconciliations.
Prepare month-end accrual and reclass journal entries.
Facilitate quality communication with customers and sales team.
Process revenue related transactions.
Provide accounting support to all Finance Operations Teams.
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Prepare financial reporting and produce budgets according to schedule.
Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
Support month-end and year-end close process.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Required Skills, Education, Experience:

Two or more years of accounting experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree (business management and/or accounting emphasis preferred) or equivalent experience in the field of Accounting.
Understanding of GAAP
Organized, detail oriented and accurate.
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Customer service focused and solution oriented.
Ability to work independently.
