Role Responsibilities:

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in accounting and finance to assist in managing our financial operations efficiently. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Essential Functions:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and investigate financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
Maintain and update financial records and documentation in Quickbooks Online.
Assist with financial audits and compliance requirements as necessary.
Assist/oversee sales tax compliance nationwide.
Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in accounting procedures.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting.
Analyze financial information, prepare financial statements, and present results.

Experience & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Proficiency in Quickbooks Online preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
