- Assists in the coordination of departmental efforts to close the books monthly in a consistent, timely, and accurate manner.
- Responsible for fixed asset records and administration as well as the maintenance and reconciliation of the Company's fixed assets activity and records (additions, disposals, depreciation expense, etc.).
- Entry into and maintenance of the Company's assets and related liabilities databases.
- Responsible for entering intercompany-related transactions and balancing the intercompany receivables and payables.
- Assist in all areas within the Accounting Department, as needed.
- Assists with internal and external party queries and information requests.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business where accounting curriculum is required.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience required.
- Full-charge bookkeeping experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of general and technical financial accounting and cost accounting procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Strong experience in all functional areas of accounting (A/R, A/P, P/R, G/L, F/A, etc.).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Viewpoint Spectrum (ERP) is preferred.
- Ability to work hours necessary to meet organizational and financial accounting deadlines.
