Duties:


  • Analyzes administrative program functions, processes, and data to determine the effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability of programs and work operations in the State. Presents finding and recommendations.
  • Works with the Procurement and Property to monitor, analyze, and coordinate state leasing activities which includes state office, area offices, and field offices.
  • Serves as State's primary purchase card approving official to ensure compliance with purchase card usage and analyzes documents to ensure purchases are legally supported and recommends new internal processes as required.
  • Provides training to state and field office staff on analytical methods utilizing data and technical tools to help the staff better understand and utilize existing data.
  • Assists the Management and Strategy team and other leadership team members and program personnel in managing the state's agreements and processes pertaining to agreements to ensure agreements are legally compliant with program rules.

  • Successful completion of oneyear probationary period, unless previously served.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid state motor vehicle operator's license for the type of vehicle(s) operated to perform the duties of this position.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:To be considered mínimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience and/or education for the respective grade level(s) in which you are applying:


  • GS-9

Specialized Experience:
One or more full-time years (12-months) of specialized work experience, equivalent to at least the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service, performing the following duties:

  • Helping with program evaluations that measure the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, procedures, and processes;
  • Utilizing computer systems and software office automation in order to accomplish work activities, prepare spreadsheets, access databases, and/or produce reports; and
  • Supporting a program office with a variety of administrative task in areas such as leasing, IT, procurement and purchasing, agreements, and/or training.

OR

Education:
Possess two years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's degree or Master's or equivalent graduate degree in business, operations management, or other directly related field

Specialized Experience:
One or more full-time years (12-months) of specialized work experience, equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service, performing the following duties:

  • Sharing program information with colleagues and leadership by preparing reports and giving briefings;
  • Assisting with processing, tracking, and managing agreements for a program office;
  • Providing training on new and existing reporting systems and data collection tools; and
  • Performing studies and/or program evaluations using qualitative and quantitative analytical methods that analyze program and administrative operations.

OR

Education:
Must have a Ph.
D.

or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in business, operations management, or other directly related field.
