    Description

    An international manufacturing corporation located in the Indianapolis, IN area is seeking a Sales Engineer to perform a range of tasks in support of their sales and engineering teams. This role involves traveling to various client sites within the assigned area designated by the company.

    Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

    • Communicate with customers, introducing and selecting products based on application needs through phone, email, and internet communications.
    • Research and identify potential clients and customers
    • Provide current market information obtained from customers
    • Review product design to ensure quality standards and specifications
    • Develop, monitor, and review foundry processes, and investigate inefficiency and conduct adjustment
    • Communicate with the production team or the other engineer departments
    • Respond to client questions, concerns, and requests
    • Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

    Sales Engineer Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering preferred, or an equivalent experience
    • Factory Automation experience is a must
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Communication skills are important
    • Able to travel
    • Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform regular physical activity
    • This position will not support visa sponsorships
    • This position will not support relocation costs
