- Drive company growth by aggressively hunting and leveraging relationships to provide HVAC controls related solutions to customers; focused on new installation, construction, retrofit, and design/build opportunities.
- Develop and expand long-term customer relationships with building owners, consulting engineers, and construction contractors to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform presentations, job-walks, take-offs, estimates, budgets & proposals to promote our products, services, and solutions.
- Demonstrate an understanding of our industry including HVAC, controls, mechanical, and electrical along with an aptitude for information technology, software, and networking.
- Responsible for complete sales cycle to include sourcing, proposal generation, bidding, closing, and follow-up for customer satisfaction and retention.
- Utilize sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunities.
- Achieve annual sales and gross margin targets.
- Actively participate in industry activities such as trade shows, conferences, factory trips, and manufacturer training.
- Energetically take part in offered sales training and development programs (Sandler Selling Method).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related field, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other similar technical degree.
- This is an entry level role. Prior exposure to Building Automation and/or HVAC Controls through coursework or internship experience strongly preferred.

- Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, and other variable environmental conditions.
