    Position

    Subsidiary Executive

    Summary

    A Japanese entertainment company is actively seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer for their Los Angeles, CA subsidiary. This pivotal role entails spearheading recruitment efforts, driving business development initiatives encompassing advertising sales, licensing, merchandising, PR, and studio management, as well as overseeing the management of local team members. Proficiency in both English and Japanese is essential for this role.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic oversight of advertising, sales, and PR functions
    • Collaborative exploration of licensing and distribution opportunities with local US partners
    • Evaluation and potential establishment of joint ventures with licensed entities, initiation of local merchandising operations, and long-term considerations for EC site operations
    • Supervision of studio management, ensuring seamless support for talent during studio utilization

    Working Hours

    8 hours / Day

    Salary & Benefits

    $200K - $300K DOE, Exempt

    Qualifications

    • Proven track record as a leader in overseas operations within the entertainment or internet industry
    • Demonstrated work experience in the United States
    • Successful management of multicultural teams comprising 10 or more members
    • Proficiency in recruitment activities in the US market
    • Must be fluent in both English and Japanese, with strong business proficiency
    • Previous experience in establishing overseas subsidiaries is highly advantageous
