Description
This BDM role will support the Healthcare Department and Healthcare & Life Sciences industry team to develop and execute clear strategies and business plans utilizing a wide range of marketing functions. The BDM serves as the primary point person to facilitate client opportunities with the lawyers, develop key messaging for better positioning in the market, and collaborate across departmental and geographic lines to identify leading revenue-generating opportunities primarily in the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry sectors.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience within the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry is highly preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, business, and practice development in a law firm including pitches and RFPs.
Business development-focused event management and leadership is a plus.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities; make decisions and adapt to changing work environments in-house and for our clients.
Strategic thinker who understands branding and consistency of message.
Self-starter with the discipline required to balance long-term strategic vision with effective day-to-day implementation of strategy.
Technology-savvy; knowledge of relevant, existing software and ability to learn new programs.
Experience with InterAction (or another client relationship management software) is desired.
