- Implement Verallia USA's sales strategy and actively contribute to building the sales budget in alignment with upper management.
- Analyze sales results and devise plans to achieve budget goals, including volume, price, margin, and other objectives.
- Present monthly reports to management, tracking business activity and progress.
- Manage and develop customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. o
- Regularly communicate with existing customers, understanding their needs, and proactively addressing any concerns.
- Identify and prospect for new accounts in the assigned territory, particularly focusing on mid- to large-size customers.
- Conduct meetings with customers, preparing for each meeting, and entering the action plan in CRM.
- Formalize price quotations for existing and new customers, adhering to the sales policy set up by management.
- Conduct complex negotiations with customers on various aspects, including volume, pricing, margins, logistics, storage conditions, and payment terms. o
- Ensure customer retention by securing multiple-year contracts.
- Proactively promote new products launched by Verallia Group and work towards expanding the range of products with customers.
- Identify and analyze customers' needs, communicating them effectively to the dedicated teams within the organization.
- Represent the company professionally to external parties such as customers and distributors.
- Participate in exhibitions, showcasing Verallia's products in a compelling manner.
- Collaborate with other departments within Verallia USA to ensure the smooth delivery of products and services to customers.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and use this knowledge to inform the sales strategy and customer relationships.
- Develop and implement sales training and coaching programs for junior sales representatives.
- Experience in Account Management within a B2B industrial environment (short sales cycle products) and recurrent business, preferably in the Packaging or Beverage Industry.
- Strong ability to manage an account comprehensively and collaborate with different teams. Strong contract negotiation skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the territory, market, and clients.
- Office location: Fairfield, CA (typically 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

ABOUT THIS ROLE
To sustain its on-going business and to prepare for future growth, Verallia USA is looking for a talented, versatile team player to join the company as an Account Manager. This role will focus on maintaining and strengthening current customer relationships while also seeking opportunities to develop new business, with a primary focus on mid- to large-size customers. This position will report to the Director of Sales.
