Supervisory Physician - Pine Ridge, United States - Indian Health Service
Description
Manage, supervise, and coordinate the Emergency Department (ED) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Will plan and coordinate facility goals to exceed patient emergency response needs. Will provide a variety of administrative oversight and tracking task to secure a fully optimal emergency response system.Provide direct supervision to Emergency Department (ED) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) through schedules of work assignments, establish priorities, evaluate work performance, and advises or counsels department employees.
Serves as technical expert for variety emergency medical services, provides continual education to staff and medical students, on-the-job training, orientation to emergency medical services, and develop department guidelines, protocols and standing orders.
Responsible for examination and diagnose patient conditions, prescribe or directs patient therapy in accordance to standard policies and requirements.
