- Serves as technical expert in the specialty area of pediatrics for the Pine Ridge Service Unit and division clinics.
- Responsible for the diagnosis, care and treatment of patients under pediatric specialty care through Inpatient and Outpatient services.
- Perform medical examinations, diagnostic test, analyze options to specialized care. Base medical decisions to professional medical knowledge, derived clinical skills, and base decisions to full scope of prescribed policies and procedures.
- Coordinate meetings with medical providers, staff, and other stakeholders to construct and update patient care plans.
- Complete narrative reports, produce weekly and monthly statistical reports. Use automated data systems to capture patient documentation, tracking, and define appropriate measures.
