    Full-time, including some work outside normal business hours
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities



    include the following:


    Create original written and visual content to tell compelling missional stories that resonate with target audiences and key stakeholders, furthering our growth goals for enrollment, fundraising, and the Institute.

    Act as a brand ambassador, representing Wheaton Academy's mission and values all communications.
    Interact with faculty, staff, and students on a regular basis to identify priorities and stories.
    Develop digital campaigns and printed resources to engage, inform, and motivate prospective families, donors, and school community.
    Manage and maintain content calendars, ensuring timely content delivery across all channels and platforms.

    Oversee and execute day-to-day social media responsibilities including crafting and posting compelling content, maintaining a social media calendar, and monitoring and responding to comments and interactions to increase engagement.

    Monitor and be a gatekeeper for public-facing Wheaton Academy social media activity and online commentary.
    Coordinate with a team to capture photos and produce video content that supports school needs.

    Monitor and analyze digital content performance metrics, such as engagement rates and click-through rates, to optimize content and drive results.

    Coordinate relationship with vendors for special projects.
    Stay up-to-date with emerging digital trends and technologies, and incorporate them into content strategies as appropriate.
    Complete additional projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager.
    Requirements

    Required Skills:
    Skilled writer for marketing copy, storytelling, and other educational content
    Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including email marketing, SEO, and analytics
    Social media savvy, can engage audiences on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Linkedin
    Photography experience preferred, especially using a DSLR camera
    Familiarity with WordPress preferred
    Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred
    Other qualifications
