Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Production Coordinator for Spectrolab, a Boeing subsidiary, to join our team located in Sylmar, California
Position Responsibilities:
Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructionsMonitors work in processCommunicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availabilityIdentifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processesCoordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delaysWorks under general supervisionThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
This position is for 1st shift.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of High School Diploma or GEDMore than 1 year of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environmentAbility to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 9-hour shift 9/80 work schedulePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with inventory, stocking, and cycle countingExperience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and ProjectExperience using SAPTypical Education/Experience:High School diploma/GED and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience.
