- As the Global Procurement Manager, you are responsible for leading the procurement and supplier quality activities to support our Aerospace Strategic Business Unit.
- The SBU has 10 manufacturing sites, and 16 distribution centers and procures direct and indirect products and services in support of manufacturing and distributing our products/services.
- The position is based out of Sylmar, CA. location. This position reports to the Procurement Director. Relocation is available.
- Lead the Operational and Sourcing teams, and the Supplier Quality team associated with the SBU.
- Establish and implement benchmarks and metrics including scorecards to set baseline standards and review for improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate and oversee company procurement with a view towards reducing costs while improving the overall quality of sourced goods and services.
- Negotiate multi-year contracts to cover 85% of SBU spend.
- Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate, anticipate, and drive attainment of SBU and platform revenue and margin goals.
- Ensure compliance with Federal (FAR/DFAR/ITAR), State and Municipal requirements including Small Business Reporting
- Reduce risk supply by developing key second source suppliers.
- 10 years experience in procurement/supply chain
- US Citizen
- Aerospace experience required.
- Stable job history is high priority for this manager.
- Experience leading large team.

- BS/BA degree or equivalent in business operations, procurement, finance, or similar field
- Minimum 10 years of direct procurement or sourcing experience in a large corporate setting
- In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation
- Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including QAD, Oracle, ePro, etc.
- Experience in Aerospace required.
- Experience leading a large team.
