    Description
    Position Summary

    Responsible for achieving robust and sustainable Healthcare Information Technology services.

    Manages all Health Information Exchange (HIE) and Interface systems supporting business processes, system support and data quality governance for master data through data coordination and integration to ensure efficient processes and consistent data flows to business and stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions


    • Conducts testing and system validation to troubleshoot issues related to master data management and system.
    • Identifies and implements process improvements in relation to master data integration processes.
    • Identifies and evaluates master data interface management metrics.
    • Manages the processes that ensure recommendations are made related to data integration techniques to strengthen data integrity, quality and availability across the enterprise.
    • Works closely with the practices, the Implementation and Optimization organizations (IOOs), the vendors and staff and consultants.
    • Will have matrixed reporting into ELLiE Project Lead.
    • Leads the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to develop enterprise data integration requirements.
    • Analyzes technology industry and market trends and determines potential impact upon the enterprise.
    • Leads the development of enterprise data integration and HIE governance structure based on business and IT strategies.
    • Overseas enterprise data integration implementation and ongoing refinement activities.
    • Directs the development and execution of a communication (Including education) plan for enterprise data integration standards.
    Other Related Functions


    • Acts as a sounding board or consultant to IT and business leaders in the development of IT solutions for business needs.
    • Manages activities related to and in compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations.
    Qualifications

    Education/Training

    Bachelor's degree required.

    Experience


    • Ten (10) years of IT and business/industry experience including data design and development, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations, with three (3) years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross functional teams or projects.
    • Able to influence senior level management and key stake holders.
    Education/Training
