- Maintaining the Flange QC process
- Assigning Flange QC cards
- Tracking location of flanges to be QC'd
- Coordinating inspection of gasket surfaces
- Final sign-off of Flange QC card
- Maintaining the PMAC process
- Issuing PMAC tags
- Insuring compliance of proper PMAC procedures
- Tracking location of PMAC tags
- Updating the PMAC log
- Communication with the Authorized Inspector
- Development of all code travellers
- Development of code procedures
- Sign-off of all hold points and final inspection.
- Coordination of all NDE.
- Development of final code package.
- Provide leadership for the site-based QC personnel, including performance management of personnel assigned
- Coordinate and oversee the testing of welders
- Assure that welders are properly qualified on required procedures
- Assure that required procedures are available for all work to be performed and assist in development of any new procedures
- Perform Root Cause Investigations for any quality related deficiency
- Act as primary point of contact for site-based QC to assist with quality related issues
- High school education or equivalent
- Requirements include a minimum of 10 years recent experience in an occupational function that has a direct relationship to welded assemblies fabricated to a recognized code or standard
- Experience working with Union craft and staff personnel
- Successful experience working with major client QA/QC management personnel.
- 6 years' Experience in a QA/QC Job Function
- Current AWS CWI Certification
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be capable of working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Must be able to bend, squat and kneel
- Must be capable of climbing ladders and scaffolds and working at heights
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses
- Must be able to occasionally work long hours and all shift schedules that may be up to seven days a week for extended duration's of up to 8 weeks or more

Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The QA/QC Regional Manager is responsible for assuring compliance to all Quality Control procedures. This person will work closely with Site / Project Managers and QC Representatives to support and provide technical assistance in all matters regarding the Quality execution of our work. The Regional Manager is responsible for interfacing with the local staffing group to recruit and place sufficient numbers of QC inspectors and supervisors to cover current and upcoming work. The Regional Manager is also involved with future work to help ensure all QC requirements are addressed in bids and proposals.
