    Job Summary

    As a WM Synergy Business Development Representative, you will act as the liaison between Marketing and Sales teams.

    Your role will be to assist with new business opportunities by contacting, developing relationships, and setting up meetings with potential customers.

    To be successful in this role, it is desirable for you to have previous experience developing leads and moving them into the sales pipeline.

    You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospects and customers.


    Ultimately, your goal is to convert Marketing Qualified Leads into Sales Qualified Leads, and in turn boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

    We are seeking a candidate who is looking for career growth opportunities including a path into sales or product presales.

    This position will report directly to the Acumatica Practice Director.

    Responsibilities

    Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
    Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.
    Present our company positively to potential clients and secure a meeting with the Account Executive
    Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
    Report to the Sales Manager, EVP of Sales/CEO, and Marketing Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) conversion results
    Stay up to date with the industry we serve and product/solutions and how they support customers' requirements
    Attending sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation
    Promote WM Synergy via social media


    DAILY ACTIVITIES
    Managing acquisition of leads
    Call on leads based on Synergy Lead process
    Discussions with C-level business leaders
    Focal point for all marketing call/email campaigns to generate leads for Net New sales
    Assist the Net New team with special projects to help drive efficiencies and drive more leads.


    GOALS
    Develop viable "net new" opportunities
    Attain Sales Qualified Lead Quota
    Increase your knowledge of our industry and how we can help our customers & prospective customers
    Build a foundation for career growth at WM Synergy

    Experience And Skills

    Self-Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
    Ability to build rapport and make sales, great communication and listening skills, highly self-motivated and self-critical
    College Degree a plus, but not necessary
    Experience Meeting and Exceeding Quota as BDR or Account Rep a plus, but not necessary
