With host Sean Evans, Hot Ones is raking in awards (including two Emmy nominations) with 2B lifetime views, 13M subscribers, and an insane social media following.

    With the ongoing success and demand of these sauces online, the time was right to launch our products onto retail shelves. Our unique flavor profiles excite customers and set us apart from the competition. We pride ourselves on our use of premium, natural, inventive ingredients, and dont use any preservatives, fillers, or gums. We want people to think about our products the way they think about the rest of their meal, because as we like to say, hot sauce is food that goes on food.

    The Opportunity:

    The Marketing Analyst, Insights & Activation is responsible for uncovering and implementing insights related to our consumers, brands, and commercial activities. This person will help plan, activate, and do post analysis on various commercial initiatives for Heatonist and its brands. This person should be knowledgeable about the consumer, competition, and the unique positioning of their portfolio of brands across the retail and digital ecosystem to effectively design and execute commercial strategies. This person also should be knowledgeable about execution across various marketing channels, including digital media, PR, social, shopper, email/SMS, and promotion.

    Job Description:

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Own research approach for Heatonist and its brands, recommending what level of decisions can be made on judgment and existing data versus those that require additional consumer input
    • Understand Heatonist consumer and equity profiles and determine how to activate against them: innovation, media, marketing strategies, etc.
    • Determine key success criteria for commercial activities and evaluate activities post execution to determine learnings and future actions
    • Update comprehensive marketing calendar that includes social, all retail activations, CRM, partner activations, etc.
    • Collaborate with DTC and sales leads on promotions and analysis
    • Collaborate with creative director and agency on analyzing and documenting best practices
    • Assist marketing manager on designing and executing key marketing activities, including media, PR, social, shopper, email/SMS, and promotion
    • Build and collaborate with a cohesive team of internal resources and liaise with external stakeholders to effectively maximize channel performance
    • Identify new areas of opportunities beyond current organizational thinking
    • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

    • Bachelors Degree is required (preferably in Marketing, Analytics, or a related field)
    • 2+ years of experience and proven depth of knowledge in insights and analytics
    • Experience in syndicated data (spins), business analysis, and/or Shopify preferred
    • Strong track record showing a bias for action and can-do attitude
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
    • Strong business judgment and decision-making skills
    • The ability to identify, prioritize and articulate the highest impact initiatives
    • Superior organizational and multi-tasking abilities
