We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join our GA Division located in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo), CA.

With general direction and limited review, this position acts as a liaison between one of more business units and information systems technical staff to ensure that information technology design, data, reports, systems, and processes meet the needs of the end users.

The Business Systems Analyst should demonstrate extensive knowledge in Computer Maintenance Management Systems with experience in SAP Plant Maintenance and Business Intelligence solution design.

With general direction and limited review, this candidate represents the Facilities Maintenance organization to manage the system of record and all related activities.

As the business activity advocate, coordinates and provides leadership for all information technology developments including but not limited to: developing product, service and report specifications to ensure end user requirements are fulfilled; and, evaluating new and/or modifying/upgrading existing business processing hardware and software systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

System Administration:
Manage and maintain Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including system maintenance, performance, and reporting.
Research, plan, evaluate, and coordinate requirement for new projects and upgrades to existing business processing hardware and software systems.
Collaborate with ITS and business partners to execute on system deliverables and enhancements while establishing prioritization of requirements.
Communicate status and updates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders related to system interruption, sustainment and change management activities.
Generate and maintain related process documentation.
Act as a CMMS system expert to utilize process and system knowledge to support audits.

BI Solution Design:

Develop, implement, and maintain advanced Business Intelligence solutions that enable real-time monitoring and predictive analysis of existing maintenance processes.

Performance Measures:
Analyze data to drive operational improvements.

Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop performance measurement systems to track and enhance the efficiency of our maintenance processes.

Collaborate with teams to improve workflows and streamline operations.

Continuous Improvement:

Lead the charge in championing a culture of continuous improvement by providing recommendations for process changes and identify opportunities for automation to strive for system efficiencies.

Training:
Facilitate training and maintain training resources for technicians, system users and leaders.

Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and six or more years technical experience working with computerized systems such as financial, accounting, purchasing, payroll, human resources, manufacturing, or other business related systems.

May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.

Must be experienced in leading and coordinating interactions between business system end-users and technical staff and have a complete operational and system understanding of administrative functions such as: general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, inventory control, fixed assets, payroll, human resources, etc.

Must have experience in developing and coordinating the development of reports from business systems and evaluating new or upgraded relevant software and hardware.

Must be customer focused, able to look at long-term trends and emerging requirements, and understand government cost accounting. Able to work extended hours as required.
