    Position Overview: Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for residential real estate? We are seeking a Senior Property Accountant to lead our financial activities and ensure the financial health of our residential properties in Holliston, MA. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial processes, analyzing performance, and providing strategic insights to support business objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day financial operations for our residential properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and rent collection.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and adherence to accounting standards.
    • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for residential properties.
    • Analyze property performance and variances to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Collaborate with property managers and other departments to address financial issues and optimize property profitability.
    • Support audits and regulatory compliance efforts related to residential properties.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on residential property accounting.
    • Strong understanding of property management accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
