- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for multiple residential properties.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports for property owners and management.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting for properties.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Coordinate with property managers to ensure timely collection of rent and resolution of financial discrepancies.
- Respond to inquiries from property owners, tenants, and vendors regarding financial matters.
- Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in property accounting, preferably in residential real estate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and property management accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with real estate accounting principles.
