    Position Overview: Are you an accounting professional with a passion for real estate and expertise in HUD housing? We are seeking a talented Property Accountant to oversee financial operations for our diverse portfolio of properties. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with HUD regulations and maintaining the financial health of our properties.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage financial activities for properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and rent collection.
    • Ensure compliance with HUD regulations and reporting requirements.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to maintain accuracy.
    • Collaborate with property managers and other team members to address financial issues and opportunities.
    • Assist with audits and tax filings as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred.
