of Job Duties:The Research Assistant Professor of the Office for Education Policy assist the Office for Education Policy in their efforts to inform and improve education in Arkansas by conducting and disseminating rigorous research studies using quantitative and qualitative methods.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Has an earned doctorate from a nationally recognized and accredited institution in Education Policy, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, or related field

At least five years of experience communicating research results to education policymakers and practitioners

Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and collegiality

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing large data sets for research projects

Record of successful publication in peer-reviewed journals, professional presentations, and securing of external funding

Additional Information:

This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
