    Summary of Job Duties:


    The assistant/ associate/ or full professor will be a tenured/ tenure track (depending on qualifications) faculty member and will be expected to teach the Criminal Practice Clinic each semester.

    The professor will be responsible for all aspects of the Clinic, including supervision of student work, teaching the weekly clinic seminar, and responsibility for the clinic's docket.

    At least one (1) year of clinical teaching experience is strongly preferred. Must be a licensed attorney eligible to practice law in the state.


    Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

    Qualifications:


    • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
    • A commitment to teaching in an environment dedicated to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students
    • License to practice in the state of Arkansas, or apply for admission within the first year
    Preferred

    Qualifications:


    • Prior clinical teaching
    • At least two years of clinical practice, preferably trial
