    The Variable/Incentives Compensation Analyst performs tasks of an operational nature as an integral member of the Inmar Centralizes Sales Compensation Team.

    This analyst position provides key variable compensation support to the functional areas or teams they are assigned, to ensure sales compensation results and pays are correct and aligns to the intent of the sales comp plan design.


    Primary Accountabilities:
    Operational (80%)

    • Ensures timely and accurate variable/incentive payouts and SPIFFs by performing day to day required processes, including analysis, data mapping and audits to ensure sellers are paid correctly. Plus, identifying ways to improve the quality and productivity to gain efficiency and data integrity.
    • This includes timely management of associate changes, transaction details, SPIFF, audit, data mapping, payroll approval and submission and explanation of compensation statements.
    • Resolving crediting inquiries by adhering to plan guidelines and following all controls and mandatory plan governance to ensure well-founded decision-making and administration.
    • Foster strong relationships with the immediate team, business line partners and sales teams.
    • Understand and support business partners requirements for Incentive Compensation plans and assist in the management of system setups and processes needed to support those requirements.
    • Help manage ICM tool (Varicent) data as needed. Monitor ICM system loads and escalate issues as needed for support.
    • Review and understand Inmar's Variable/Incentive Compensation Plans and how personnel are compensated with respect to positions and basis of measurement.
    Administrative (20%)

    • Manage the Varicent ICM tool for teams/Line of Business(s) supported.
    • Facilitate ongoing educational sessions on variable plans at all levels of the teams/divisions supported.
    • Ensure timely and accurately variable/sales incentives administration and issue resolution.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor Degree, Accounting, Finance or other related Business discipline.
    • 3+ years of variable/incentive compensation administration experience in a mid to large company.
    • 3+ years experience with business processes and leading practices relating to variable/incentive plans/admin.
    • 3+ years experience with Incentive Compensation Management Systems (Varicent preferred).
    • 3+ Business/payout analysis, data mapping, requirements/data gathering skills.
    • Strong Google Suite skills preferred or Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (Vlookups).
    • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with an overall commitment to quality and accuracy with the ability to prioritize to meet key deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to "take the lead" in researching and revolving compensation issues as needed.
    • Ability to take ownership of special projects and effectively delivery positive results
    • CIS (Certified Incentives Specialist) Certification Preferred
    • Teamwork: Builds relationships and works cooperatively with others, inside and outside the organization, to accomplish objectives to build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships, leverage information and achieve results.
