- Perform routine clerical accounting duties, while adhering to established accounting standards
- Data entry of contracts and accounting financial transactions in the accounting software database
- Assist in audit requests
- Execute accurate reporting, filing, and database management
- Research and complete accounting reconciliations
- 2+ years of clerical accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred
- Experience with accounting software for government contractors is preferred (Procas)
- Knowledge of ADP payroll processing
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills are required
- Strong work ethic to function at a high level, while managing multiple projects
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proven track record in exceeding objectives
- Ability to comply with local, state, and federal financial regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Experienced in use of accounting software
- Reliable skills in Microsoft Excel
- Reliable skills in Microsoft Word
- Experienced with QuickBooks
- Experience in accounting / bookkeeping
- Customer service skills for invoice inquiries
- Manage information by keeping proper records
- High School diploma required.
- Associates degree preferred, with focused course work in accounting.

Tuba Group is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support general accounting functions. Must be proficient at handling sensitive financial details and confidential information appropriately.

Position Description Summary
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping duties, preferably in a government contracting environment. Candidate must be a quick learner, able to multi-task, effectively manage competing priorities, accurately and on schedule. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
