    Facilities Coordinator - New York, United States - Match Group

    We're looking for a Facilities Coordinator, under the direction of the Sr.

    Facilities Manager, this position will be responsible for providing "hands-on" operational support tasks as well as overseeing external facilities related vendors at our office located in New York.

    This position is onsite Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
    Match Group is a leading provider of dating products available globally. Our portfolio includes Tinder, Match, OkCupid, Hinge, PlentyOfFish, and others, each designed to help singles find a meaningful connection.


    How you'll make an impact:
    You will be responsible for daily walkthroughs to ensure a clean and functioning facility. Maintain overall physical appearance of the office space and work closely with the Sr. Facilities Manager and the building's janitorial company to ensure that the space is clean and fully stocked.

    You will perform handyperson tasks such as wall patching/ painting, replacement of door hardware, minor plumbing repairs, signage installation, and daily custodial support services.

    You will assist with the coordination and scheduling of maintenance activities, including quality control inspections and preparing project completion documentation.

    You will interact with building management on repairs and space issues outside of the Match Group demised premise.

    You will provide "hands-on" support for the Workplace Experience & Events Teams concerning conference rooms and event layouts and setups.

    Coordinate and provide "hands-on" support for facilitating office moves and work with the Technology Team assisting with the moving of computer-related equipment and AV equipment.

    You will assist Match Group leadership to establish guidelines and monitor compliance regarding life-safety procedures, emergency preparedness programs, and business continuity planning.

    You will perform various facility-related duties as required to sustain optimal building operation and be responsible for the 24/7 response to all emergency situations impacting building operations We could be a match if: You have the ability to move/lift various office furniture up to 50 poundsYou have a working knowledge and the skillset to perform handyperson tasks such as patch work/ painting, hanging of various items, door hardware, and minor plumbing repairs.

    You have experience and proficiency working with various facility software management tools; experience with Building Management System and Jira applications are strongly preferred.

    You have functional understanding of the technical aspects of building facilities operating disciplines (HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry)You have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    $ $34.62 a year Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.

    This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York, NY.

    This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
