- Always follow the Standard Operational Procedures.
- Accurately and safely picking product and case pick.
- Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap product as required.
- Safely operate and maintain material handling equipment.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies as required.
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers.
- Ensure all scanning is completed correctly.
- Ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping.
- Perform picking and packing duties.
- Ensure Housekeeping standards are maintained in the designated work area for the Day.
- Remove empty pallets from the Active pick locations for the Ground Operations team to be able to do the replenishment process and fill them up.
- Collect empty trays/ totes from the Shipping department floor as necessary.
- Promote and follow safe work methods and procedures.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- In a workday: standing/walking 6-10 hours or more.
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals, loud noises, flashing lights
- Constant exposure to temperatures:
- Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Ability to work in other areas of the business as needed.
- Must wear non-slip resistant shoes.
- Ability to apply knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products to the nuances of everyday operation.
- Ability to clearly communicate in English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
