    Our client is looking for a Senior Human Resources Associate to join their team. As a vital member of the HR department, you will handle various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, development, and compliance. This position calls for a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and communication skills when dealing with employees across all levels of the organization.
    Main Responsibilities:
    • Offer comprehensive HR support to designated facilities.
    • Assist the Human Resources Director in implementing policies and procedures at multiple sites.
    • Support day-to-day HR operations including employee communication, onboarding/offboarding, leave management, workers' compensation, HR data management, and employee relations.
    • Lead training sessions for associates at various levels.
    • Collaborate with recruitment to identify and choose internal and external candidates.
    • Address Open Door, diversity, and other values-related matters efficiently.
    • Conduct orientations for new hires.
    • Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies by working closely with Employee Relations and legal teams.
    • Provide guidance and suggestions for the growth of non-exempt associates and Supervisors.
    • Participate in conflict resolution and interventions alongside HR leadership.
    • Oversee contractor agency interactions with front-line supervisors and the internal HR Director.
    • Deliver, oversee, and guide technical and non-technical training for site Supervisors and non-exempt associates.
    • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
    • Efficiently process payroll for all employees in compliance with regulations.
    • Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and other deductions.
    • Manage time approvals by managers and functional timekeepers, ensuring compliance.
    • Handle non-benefit deductions, including interpretation and distribution of garnishments.
    • Travel may be necessary.
    Experience/Requirements:
    • 4+ years of HR experience, preferably in food manufacturing/production or start-up environments.
    • 4+ years of Payroll administration experience.
    • Expertise in recruitment strategies, employment agency operations, and interviewing methods.
    • Sound knowledge of employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws, with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal capabilities, coaching, and counseling skills.
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
    • Bilingual skills preferred (English/Spanish).
    Schedule:
    • Days: Monday to Friday (flexibility needed for weekends).
    • Hours: 8am to 5pm (flexible working hours).
